Who knew that Mr. Scholma, Timothy’s 5th grade teacher, lives in another state?! He and his wife claim that there really IS more than corn in Indiana. Join them for five days of exciting full day field trips to see the best of what Northwest Indiana has to offer. Students will be led through each attraction by professional guides and participate in hands on experiences in each park. From touring a historic farmstead to milking an electronic cow, the students won’t realize how much they are learning because they are having so much fun! 

Students will need to bring a sack lunch each day. Camp cost includes transportation, admission to all attractions, and special field trip extras. Act quickly to reserve a spot for your chi

Students will have the opportunity to explore: 

  • Fair Oaks Farms – Pig and cow experiences (4D movie, chocolate milk). 

  • Washington Park Zoo – Behind the scenes stories and animal facts with a zoologist. 

  • High Ropes Adventure – 50 challenging treetop obstacles and sip lines. 

  • Albanese Candy Factory – All the free candy samples you can eat during the tour! 

  • Buckley Homestead – Two hour tour given by interpreters in period costumes. 

  • Chemshaws – Homemade doughnut (included) at doughnut shop/comic book store. 

  • Lemon Lake – Disc golf (discs provided), fishing (BYO rod & tackle), and a picnic lunch.
